Il dvd HK che abbiamo testato è quello della Fortune Star Digitally Remastered rilasciato un pò di tempo addietro. Il video è molto buono e la rimasterizzazione si vede,anche l'audio è stato pompato e di fatti abbiamo un dts cantonese,un 5.1 cantonese e un 5.1 mandarino oltre al classico stereo cantonese. Noi abbiamo iniziato a visionarlo in cantonese DTS ma abbiamo switchato dopo una ventina di minuti sullo stereo perchè il DTS non è fatto bene e lo stereo si addice più al film in questione.I subs inglesi sono ok ma dubito che siano basati sulla traccia audio originale,ma molto probabilmente su una traccia audio inglese, questo lo si nota visto che omettono alcune frasi o le modificano. Due interviste al suo interno rendono questo dvd ancora più valido. E' uscito un pò dappertutto, consigliamo questa edizione. Per quanto riguarda il film ne avevamo sentito parlare molto bene e di fatti non ne siamo rimasti delusi.Questo HongKong1941 (da non confondersi con "1941 Hong Kong On Fire" uscito un decennio dopo) racchiude più temi dall'amore all'amicizia, dalla guerra/opprusi alla voglia di soppravvivere/difendere la propria identità.. insomma questo drama che ha come scenario l'occupazione giapponese di Hong Kong è un film molto buono sia dal punto di vista del plot sia dal punto di vista dell'acting sempre convincente e che vi farà entrare nel cuore i personaggi chiave con le loro storie e le loro emozioni. Se ne avete la possibilità dategli un occhiata, siamo sicuri non ne rimarrete delusi. Il titolo originale cinese vuol dire: "aspettando l'alba" -------------------- |

se non sbaglio Chow Yun Fat si è portato a casa un premio per questo film , il Taipei Golden Horse Award per la sua interpretazione.
